Economic Information Center (EIC) project was designed to address the need for publicly available economic data and independent analyses on the Armenian economy, important for raising public awareness on economic, social and demographic issues and for enhancing the formation of a realistic public opinion. Through providing comprehensive economic information resources for researchers and practitioners the EIC project aims to ultimately promote more efficient economic policy-making and to contribute to perspective business decision-making.
The EIC includes a periodically updated
database
of the Armenian economy, as well as alternative
analyses
and
forecasts
covering all the sectors of the economy, market developments, economic policy and structural reforms. Developing professional and independent analyses and providing comprehensive economic information, the EIC aims to become a widely used resource for economists.
You can
register
for free to the Economic Information Center to periodically receive updates of the site as well as recent economic indicators, analyses and various periodicals.
The start up of the project in 2001 was supported by Barents Group of KPMG Consulting.
